The IAF attended the eleventh session of the General Assembly of the States Parties to the 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, held at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris on 17–18 June.
As one of the Convention’s accredited advisory NGOs, the association took part in a session that reaffirmed falconry’s standing as a living tradition – now recognised across 24 States Parties, making it the largest multinational nomination in the Convention’s history.
