The Katara Cultural Village in Doha celebrates many cultural activities, including one that is core to the Qatari people – falconry. The most striking building is the Giant Hood, built to house an interactive multimedia exhibit for visitors wishing to learn about the rich heritage of Qatar falconry. Also in the complex is the oldest veterinary clinic for falcons in the Middle East.
